In the late 70's and early 80's Something was amiss in the guitar world. Mass production driven by consumerism drove manufactures to basically turn out $hit. The reality was you could but a better Les Paul, Stratocaster or Telecaster Made in Japan that pretty much blew Gibson and Fenders Products away. One of the problems was poor quality and workmanship in the electronics department. So began Zen Labs history... Rewiring guitars and making them sound right. We were just kids then and after a few years we went out separate ways...Well... Today in the guitar world we have kind of the same thing going on so we are back to the bench creating the best tone money can buy.
